NEET 2016 Eligibility for All India Quota Seats:
Candidates must have appeared or will be appearing in 2016 for class 10+2 or equivalent exam. The candidate must appear and qualify the class 12th exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Bio-technology (PCB) Mathematics or any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT)
Applicants has passed the B.Sc. Examination of an Indian University with not less than two of the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/Bio-technology and further that they has passed the earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English

Syllabus The Medical Council of India (MCI) recommended the NEET 2016 for admission to MBBS/BDS courses across the country after review of various State syllabi as well as those prepared by CBSE, NCERT and COBSE. This is to establish uniformity across the country keeping in view the relevance of different areas in Medical Education.
NEET 2016 Syllabus
The NEET 2016 syllabus will be prescribed by the Medical Council of India. The syllabus will be based on Class 11th & Class 12th subjects, chapters & topics. The syllabus will consist of four sections: Physics, Chemistry, Zoology & Botany. The NEET syllabus is prepared after reviewing various state syllabii as well as those prepared by the Council Board of School Education (COBSE), Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT). The NEET II syllabus are given here:
Class XI: Physical world and measurement, Laws of Motion, Kinematics, Work, Energy and Power, Motion of System of Particles and Rigid Body, Gravitation, Properties of Bulk Matter, Thermodynamics, Behaviour of Perfect Gas and Kinetic Theory, Oscillations and Waves.
Class XII: Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Magnetic Effects of Current and Magnetism, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Currents, Electromagnetic Waves, Optics, Dual Nature of Matter and Radiation, Atoms and Nuclei, Electronic Devices.
Class XI: Some Basic Concepts of Chemistry, Structure of Atom, Classification of Elements and Periodicity in Properties, Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, States of Matter: Gases and Liquids, Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Redox Reactions, Hydrogen, s-Block Element (Alkali and Alkaline earth metals), Some p-Block Elements, Organic Chemistry-Some Basic Principles and Techniques, Hydrocarbons, Environmental Chemistry.

NEET Result 2016
The authority will provide the result to students on 17th August, 2016. Candidates can check NEET Result 2016 through the official website of the authority. Candidates are required to enter their roll number and other required details to view their results. The CBSE Board will prepare a merit list for admission as per the directives of the authorities. There will be no separate merit prepared for the SC/ST candidates.
